Looks like you had a great time ! Don't rule out a small stove for your setup. It will give you a chance to get things dryed out once a day and
you won't have to bring as many cloths for the trip.
Once you learn how to set up and brake down it only takes minutes. I'll bring a couple of samples of simple set ups at the Frozen But
    in Jan.
The Martin didn't eat much and I'm sure it made for great intertanmint on the trail!

With all the business ventures and work this year I didn't even get out scouting let alone hunting Maybe next year. You are making me jealous my friend... but thank you for letting me live vicariously even if just for a moment.

    Lonetracker,
I also do alot of bow hunting and use my DIY smokehouse and small Ti Stove. The stove will break down, but I keep it together. I cut slots in the screw holes of the legs so I can back the screws off and take the legs off without taking stove all apart. The pipe rolls up to a 2"x12". I can have the stove up and going in less than 5 min. I don't burn it all night. mainly use to keep warm in evening and morning. it will dry my close out and I cook on it also. below is a video I did last year.

Very sweet. Thanks very much for letting us tag along.

You and my Pap would be very sympatico deer hunting. He used to go thru the woods with the specific intention of having the deer know he was there. He would cut the track he was looking for and the joust would begin. The 3rd time he jumped it (as you know, that might be miles and hours later), the deer would mill about trying to get a look at what was trailing it and that would be bucky's demise.

i did have a great time.i look forward to seeing you as well as your warming samples in jan.
he was some great entertainment and i am sure in years to come he will be my main memory of this years deer hunt.as the two bull mooses i saw last year are for then.i also saw a fisher during deer season this year but he would not come close enough for a pic.
