Rigging up a blanket as a temp UQ?

Just as a backup to make sure I keep warm at the Dec NJ/PA hang, I am planning to bring a Go! Blanket (nylon on one side and fleece on the other) as a supplemental UQ & wind block if my 3S crowsnest isn't enough.

Need some suggestions on how to rig a blanket up as a temp UQ. There's no tie-outs on it so I was thinking maybe some binder clips to hold it in place. Another option I'm considering is just putting a rock or something in the corners to tie onto like you would to make a quickie tarp pull-out, but I would need clips or something else to keep the ends closed. I'd love to hear what's worked for other folks.

I'm not really looking to make this into an UQ for regular use so I was looking for ideas that do not involve sewing - besides, I can't sew

Thanks, never used a sheet bend but after looking it up on animated knots, I think I see how that would work. I will give this a try later.

Depending on the size of the blanket and the design of the hammock (I'm assuming it's gathered-end), you could just make the blanket into a hammock shape by gathering the ends and tying them to some cordage with a sheet bend, then tie the cord to your suspension, thereby creating a double hammock. This should not damage the blanket in any way.

Forgot to mention yes, it's a gathered end hammock, will be bringing my GT Ultralight on this one.

I like that idea of making a hammock shape out of it, I didn't think of that but I bet that will work well.
