These look awesome. Seen some similar ideas recently, but this looks so much cleaner IMHO.

I don't use a toggle and marlinspike because I just like the ease and "security" (even if it is imagined) of a biner and marlinspike. I hate the bulk though.

Seriously, announce a release date already.

I made as set of those and have been using them for about three years. They work just fine. It's a little hassel when tree size and spacing changes much and I need to move it on the strap.

these spike replacements are perfect for noobs who you don't want to trust with knots (or hitches) For Sanborn's hammocks these would be perfect because they are easy to use but much less potential for user error in tying the spike hitch (even though it is the easiest thing the tie ever) I would love these with just 1 slot so we could sew them into our tree straps to future eliminate any potential of user error related slippage.

i like the idea that these can easily be adjusted depending on tree size-
instead of tying the marlin spike.. just slide up or down the webbing.
no hassle in accidental whoopie slippage off the knot.

Looks the goods. All it needs now is a small spring gate similar to the Dutch Biner to make things easier when rigging and safer when hanging. Excellent job!

Are these CNC cut? If not, can you tell us what you used? I was hoping you could tell us how to DIO (do it ourselves)

i use a cnc to prototype but for anything with volume I'll use a waterjet. you could use a laser but you need a high wattage 5K so you don't melt the material.
