Scrounge up enough of those and up could build a 3-meter cockpit for a warp-drive proof of concept ship.

...sorry, I couldn't resist, the opening was right there.

I want to use it with my new wearable quilts so instead of shock cord belts you can use a webbing belt which you already have and is easier to manage (at least in theory)

I can make these out of Ti, others have suggested the triglide Dutch clip also.

"S" hooks for guy lines. When I need/want to tie out just a little bit further in cold temps, my fingers won't cooperate on tiny thin line.

Make to hook ends pretty tight - just enough to slip a loop thru.

    stupid question dutch...

If you are already using 1/8" stock for your AL product will using Ti save any weight? I always thought AL was lighter (i know there are a lot of alloys with dif properties but as a general rule) than Ti. Ti of course is stronger than AL (assuming all specs the same) so if the 1/8" AL is already strong enough what is gained by moving to Ti? (from your post it looks like this is just to test stuff) Just wondering?

I used to wear a kilt for a living history program. I used a blanket pin to attach the ends together. You can make a ti one. Problem is it is more a wire product than a sheet stock one. But you might be able to make a cool kilt pin with the HF logo on it. Got the ideas from your bridgeskin video with your HF logo bling.

The clips and biners are made from 3/16th Al and I was going to be able to slim them down since it is so strong. It really is for other projects but I want to test on Clips and Biner because I have established weight loads for them to use as a base line. Right now I don't knwo if I can cut it and sanding it doesn't sound fun.

The thing with the pin is I don't see why it has to be ti. Although a kilt pin would be cool. HF has the rights to their logo.
