    Under Quilt for Warbonnet.

I am lookying at the Warbonnet 2 layer as a replacement for HH and was wondering how will my HH undrquilty work with the Warbonnet? Its home made but I would rather not have to remake it.

In regards to using an UQ, the HH and WBBB aren't much different. Unless you've done some serious tailoring for a specific HH model, your UQ should work fine.

What HH model do you have?

What are the dimensions of the UQ?

Have you compared your UQ dimensions to those of Hammock Gear's 3/4 UQ or Warbonnet's 2/3 UQ?

I use quilts made for the HH for my WBBB. They have the asymmetrical shapes that work well with the WB. In fact, I just received the Potomac KAQ by Arrowhead. This UQ is designed for the HH. It fits great. I added a couple of rings and mitten hooks with shock cord and grosgrain to both side of the UQ and WB so that it stays in place. I've found that without them the QU tends to slip to your right side and leave you cold on the left. It's an easy mod to make with just a needle and thread. My guess is that you would need to do something like this with any UQ because of how the WB is shaped.

    Hope that helps.

When I feel that I need to use a synthetic underquilt on my hammock I will always use my Potomac KAQ on my Warbonnet Traveler... I find that it fits perfectly.
