Since I built my indoor hammock stand about a month ago I have been sleeping most nites in a hammock. That is until tonite. Was just settling in trying to find the sweet spot when ..... rippppp..... floor. The fabric was 1.5 DWR ripstop and it tore right at the spot where the whipping was. My question to all that sleep on a regular basis indoors is, what weight of fabric do you use?
The bright side is that I had just finished a hammock sock and had it installed. The way it was tied it helped to slow the desent to the floor considerably, and didn't sustain any damage.
