Need New suspension. No knots

I recently went out with my ENO double nest with the pro slapstraps. In the middle of the night i thought the all the jack and cokes were playing tricks on me. I thought I kept hearing a sound. Eventually I figured the sound to be the bottom of the hammock moving over a fallen limb on the ground.

So in light of that I need a new suspension that does not sag and no knots ( just don't like them),

Any Ideas on the suspension ( needs to be easy/quick to set up) .

( although weight not a real issue I am looking to change out the heavy stock carabiners on the ENO double nest )

Ideas on switching out the heavy carabiners?

Sounds like another convert to whoopie slings, or all straps!

There are lots of options, Cinch buckles are a very popular choice for many folks that want simple with no knots. Buckles and webbing will run around 30 or so depending on the length of straps you want.

Another popular choice is whoopie slings paired with some tree straps.

Both of those systems have extremely little to know stretch, whoopies will have slightly less bulk over all,but buckles are probably faster to set up and take down if you are counting seconds one to the other.

webbing suspension
ahe - 2, 15ft polyester NO STRETCH STRAPS with dead eyes sewn= 22.50
- 2 chainlinks wiht cinch buckles= 20

Tri-Glides are what I use too.

If you choose webbing, make sure it's NOT nylon (slap straps). I made this error at first, and also ended up with my butt close to the ground. On my first hammock (Trek Light) I used webbing straps with light weight biners & descender rings. Now I also have a WBBB which came with the webbing & cinch buckles. These systems are very quick & easy, especially if you aren't too worried about weight. Paul at AHE can hook you up.

Another vote for whoopies, light, strong, EASY. And then either go with the cinch buckles or dutch clips/biners...possibilities are endless really. But you won't find much stretch if any once you convert to this system.
