New Burrow Question About Shock Cord

I just got my new Burrow, and it looks awesome. This is my first top quilt so forgive my ignorance. My question is about the two adjustable shock cord lengths that run from side to side, one at the thighs and one at the mid back. I assume these are to pull the sides under you, but they seem like more trouble than they may be worth in the hammock. Do other Burrow owners not use these or take them off? Thanks.

    I take them off.
They will work fine if you use the quilt on the ground with a mat, I think that's what they are for.
I find the edges of the quilt stay tucked in nicely when in the hammock, never needed the cords.

Ditto. I took mine off. Their more for the ground dwellers. Enjoy that burrow
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Thanks. I took them off and used it this weekend, worked great, no regrets.
