    seriously though, when in the hammock how far off the ground are you? maybe its just optics and it isn't as far as it seems in the pic. Dont fall though, we need all the hangers we can get.

    Im probably about 5' up. It'd hurt if I fell, but it wouldn't kill me.

    Personally I would look at hanging a little closer to the floor &/or leave something for cushioning under the hammock... just in case. Things do happen & occasionally someone gets some degree of injury from their hammock dropping them.
    We've herd of sore backs & sore or maybe cracked tail bones, etc. It doesn't take that far of a fall to cause injury if you hit just right.
    I had a hammock drop me from just about 1 foot onto a hardwood floor & my elbow struck the floor, chipping a bone. That elbow was sore for months
    I too will something make and joy in it's making
