Alas, I have so many trips planned in January that my December kitchen pass has been revoked! Wifey wants me around here!
However, I may do what I did last year... an overnighter for the last two days of hunting season. I'll depart in the morning on Dec 30, and return the next evening.

It's hard to get time off around the holidays on short notice...

Understand about trying to get the time off to take off someplace. Since the Neusiok trail is 20 minutes away it is all I can work in at this time of year.
