    My take on winter

I know I am in the minority here, but this is winter from the perspective of a motorcyclist and pursuer of all things spring gobbler.

    Winters '09 & '10 @ Speckled Buck Farm video/slideshow. Hope ya enjoy.

Great video. I know how you feel to some extent. I'm a non skier, spring and fall lover , Sold my shadow in june for a kayak and now love summer as well on the cool water. Have no friends at the moment who like to hike so i go by myself but in the winter it gets dark too early for this fella and don't have winter gear yet anyhow. I will do a couple of outings but frankly i'm still looking for the odd day to paddle. Until then i hike every other day, snowshoe once we get the right snow. Looks like you have a very nice place and friend. Spring will be here before you know it.

Given where you live and your view out the front door, I might once again learn to like winter! I'm thinking snowshoes here would come in handy about now.

You bike for a kayak...made me flinch for a sec...and then I remembered how near the water is to your door and understood.

    Yep, shadow keeps me grounded.

Glad you found the slideshow worth your time. Paddle on.
