I am giving a crowsnest.. I got a question!

Many months passed without reading this forum.. did the UQ game changed ? I bought a crowsnest from Stormcrow about 7 months ago and its the best thing that ever happen to me for my expedition in the wild. Im sick and tired of watching my brother carrying his cheapo bulky blue foam .. so i wanted to buy him the same thing as i bought as a gift before the snow melt in Canada..

What is that phoenix ? same as the good ol crowsnest ? just a name changed ?

Did something changed with stormcrow UQ since 7 months ago ?

I suffer from a lack of spare time to read the entire forum so I choosed to post my question directly.. any info is more than welcome.

i think it was a Regular 25°F ¾-length UQ from an old pm from Stormcrow.. so.. its a 3 season i guess

800 fill .. 900 ... no idea

i dont remember the specific specs but i do remember that it kept my arse warm at minus 11 celcius in february 2010

The Phoenix is the new name for the 3/4 length UQ from Stormcrow (the Incubator is the full length version). As I recall, the 3-Season Phoenix is rated to 20F, but you have upgrade options that can push that threshold down.

Yep, they had a competition to suggest a new name. As the posts above indicate, the Phoenix was the name that won.

as already stated just a different name but now you have a 900 fill power option.the 3S phonix with 900 fill is rated to 15 with 800 fill rated to 20 that's farenheight plus you have over stuff option which could rate the quilt colder.

We started out with 800 fill and then went to only using 900 for a long time. Around July or so we re introduced the option to use 800. Availability of 900 and the higher price point prompted us to offer both grades.
