    Smile Que Pasa from Georgia

    Hi

    After lurking the forums & pilfering the wonderful bits of information I figured I should probably register and introduce myself

    I'm a newbie to hammocks (only 3 nights so far) but experienced in camping / backpacking back since I was a boyscout.

    I'm hanging in a HH Explorer Ultralight A-Sym and my first major mod (JBR Winter Nest) should be on its way soon.

    Looking forward to learning more (especially regarding ultralight hiking w/ hammock) & hopefully meeting some of you fellow hammock dwellers!

    AvgJoe,

    Welcome! I'm up in Gainesville and frequent the Appalachian Trail for one and two night excursions (especially wintertime). I am heading up tomorrow for a single night and quick hike (Unicoi to Tray Mtn Gap). Let me know if you're ever in the area. Same to all the other GA hangers on here.
