    "Off the Shelf Underquilt"

I would like some advice and pointers about selecting an "off the shelf" underquilt. Something that I can purchase from a manufacter that would work well with a HH Expedition A-sym with little or no modification on my part. Thanks in advance for your advice and opinions.

JRB is about the only game in town for a 'factory fit'. At least as far as I know.

You can't go wrong with a Speer Snug Fit UQ. Youngblood designed the state of the art in underquilts when he did that one, IMO.

Yes, it fits just fine. There are 2 models of the Speer, one Speer specific and one universal. The universal model can be used with almost any hammock.

You simply push the quilt to the side when entering, and it will snap back in place when you lift your legs.

The only downside to the Speer Snugfit UQ imo is the high cost... it's a great design.

Blackbishop351 used to make the KAQ Potomacs but he hasn't been around much lately. Dunno if he'd still make one if you PM him.

Only other underquilts are the JRBs and Speers. Warbonnetguy isn't really up and running yet but he's made underquilts, too...not sure if he's tried them on HHs yet.
