Yep, that's it. I do have a good friend, Jude O'Dell, who plays a mean clawhammer joe. I don't even have any business picking one of those things up.
The thing I do know is clawhammer means folks music, which is way cool with me.
I can usually keep up with a pretty quick tempo, but dulcimer is not made for the "Art of playing a 4min folktune in 2:30mins," or as it's affectionately referred to as, Bluegrass.
