Mapquest tells me it's about 4hrs and 239 miles from Eaton Rapids to Indy.
Then its lists Indy to Story, using I-65 @ around 1.25 hrs and another 68 miles.
The N trailhead according to the Indy.gov site says it's 2.7 miles past Story on off of Elkinsville Rd, so probably 1.5 hrs from Indy to the N trailhead.
Looks like at least a 6 hour trip, counting stops, and maybe a fast lunch.
Hope to see you @ the hollow. I'm planning on coming in on Thursday afternoon or night, but from the other direction.

Let us know if there's anything we can do to nudge you in the direction of doing this. I'd especially love to try a bit of venison cooked on a spit over an open fire, but ham would be good too. What sounds good to go with it? Maybe a whole bunch of spuds and carrots wrapped in foil and buried in the coals to bake? I'd be willing to haul in those, and maybe some butter and sour cream.
