Bring foil....

slice potatos 1/4 inch thick......add thick sliced onions, butter, thick sliced carrots, salt and pepperand some olive oil ( helps eliminate the burning of the onions ) wrap up tight, place on top coals....and cover with more....wait 20 min, and consume.....

Oh, I my son is bringing 3 loaves of fresh bread.....and butter.....and apple butter....

Chris, friend will bring, Cheese, bread, and 15 year old scotch....

Got it. . . Potatoes, onions, carrots, butter, olive oil and foil added to packing list. I'll probably bring a few heads of fresh garlic as well, 'cause I loooove me some garlic. Should I bring more salt & pepper, or do you think you'll have enough extra after seasoning the hunk 'o meat? Oh, and I'll be glad to help with gathering/chopping/splitting wood as well.

I got my request in for both Thursday and Friday off that week, and I have no reason to anticipate it not being approved, so I should be good to go!

Hoosier Hangaroo! Got a nice ring to it. But I have to say that with all the talk about potatoes, carrots, venison, beer, liquor,Haunted spirits,snort and stomp, singing and banjo music. This outing is starting to sound like a combined sequel to Deliverance and Escanaba in the Moonlight! I can get into that! Big Al
