    what I want

here is a list off stuff I want, and hopefully can find:

hammock material, either taffeta or ripstop and either nylon or polyester. colors: forest green, tan, coyote brown.

weather shield set, top and bottom. If 1.4 oz poly ripstop is a bad hammock would use this for shield. will get from jeff, once the money comes...

tarp, leaning to the SG 9x9

Ed's hammock camping book. since I dont plan on ordering anything from him as of now.

thats it so far. thge rest I can find from online, like OWF or is stores. Cant wait to make my own headessy clone.

Ed Speer's Hammock Supply page sells Chocolate Brown 1.9 ripstop (hammock material), which is really close to Coyote Brown (imo).

r.e. chocolate brown from Speer. Nice color. I've built 3 hammocks and a sock using it. Snoop around my gallery to see what the color is like. Wish I could find a source for a color like it in sil, as JRB and HH have found for their stuff.

That was some 1.9oz I scored from the WalMart 1.00 bin. I didn't buy all of it because I didn't know what to use it for, so I just bought enough to make a hammock. I wish I had gotten the whole bolt of fabric now. I really like the color. You may check Quest Outfitters as they have a varity of colors to choose from and the tan (golden) color may be a good match to the color I used.

Well, if you ever find the "mother lode", please keep us informed (after you've bought as much as you want, of course)...

Too bad JRB or Hennessy doesn't sell silnylon by the yard. They'd make a bloody fortune.
