Ya, it sounds awesome. Unfortunately it is snowing like crazy again in Mn. So, we won't be able to see it here. Have fun tonight.

Also happens to coincide with the winter solstice, and the Ursid meteor storm (Look toward Ursa Minor during the Eclipse.) Great time to take up celebrating Yule.

I was planning on watching the eclipse and possibly timelapsing it, but California is in a perpetual state (no pun intended) of rain. They're even calling for flooding.

Mabey if the sky cooperates we may still get a chance to see it.

Sky is clear hear in Alabama, at the moment, gonna set the alarm and get up and try to get some shots.

Just looked at the full moon but it was a 10 second glimpse through a hole in the clouds so the overall odds aren't great....I will be up for it just in case.
