    I'm not crazy but I am a carrier…

I think I have become a gram wienie. I'm thinking of removing one of the bottoms from my BB double 1.1 and removing the side tie out wings to save weight. I no longer need a double as I have under quilts and do not use pads. I'm 5'9" and weigh 165 lbs. Before attempting this I would be willing to trade for a single BB 1.1 or a Hennessy Hyperlight.

That's why I have at least one of each.

If I were to do it again, I'd let the single BBs pass and just keep the doubles. When weight is a concern for me, I just take my Traveler anyway. The Birds are for those max comfort trips where the few extra ounces don't really matter.
    Trust nobody!

I have a brand new(never opened) HH Exped, it's a single bottom (1230 grams). It comes with their stand small fly and 1" tree huggers, I would trade.

OutandBack, I appreciate the offer but the Exped is heavier than I want.

get with Brandon- maybe he could do a trade-in/upgrade?
(Knowing as we do that the after market for WBBB's is better than for most types of used gear..)

    No problem.
I would recommend you sell the BB1.1 double here on HF. I'll bet it sells with in the first hour of you putting it up forsale. Then you can just buy the Hyperlight and have money to spare.

Thanks everyone. I may just follow OutandBack's advice to sell. The situation is that I have a Nano-7 with cuben fiber tarp and you can't get much lighter than that. I sleep fine in it. I have a HH Adventure Racer for summer but I attempted a modification and ruined it. I carried it for 12 days in Maine with the Edge tarp and Mac's IX UQ for total of 35.4 oz. I would love to get my hands on another Adventure Racer but Hennessy no longer makes them. I do not toss and turn in my sleep so I just do not need much room to be comfortable. Maybe it is time for a DIY Adventure Racer or just get one of Papa Smurf's bug net for the Nano-7.
