Which way round should I hang my crowsnest / phoenix

Okay so I have a 3 S crowsnest and noticed last night that it has two differnet diameter bungies on each end to clinch it up.
The main suspension is still the bungie that run's through the side channels.

One end has a the same diameter bungie as the main suspension with a button toggle on each end.

The other end of the UQ has a smaller diameter bungie with one button toggle on one end and the bungie is sewn into the other end of the quilt.
Is the smaller diamter bungie end of the UQ the head end or the foot end of the UQ.

Figured I could ask this directly to Stormcrow but as many others also have a crowsnest or phoenix on order, it might be a common question that the answer might be useful to the other proud owners.

    Great question...

The answer to your questions is that there is no head or foot end on a Phoenix. You caught us in the middle of a little change we were making. One end of your quilt has 3/32 cord with one cord lock. The other end has 1/8 cord with two cord locks. We are transitioning over to everything being 1/8 cord for ease of production. Both ends should cinch up in a similar fashion and again, there is not head or foot end on the Phoenix. Just consider your quilt as an ultra light model since it only has 3 cord locks instead of 4

I ecently chided Adam and Jen

for not putting labels on their fine equipment. They are so busy that they have been slipping that step in favor of production, which I heartily endorse.

Maybe when they find themselves with their heads comfortably above water they could develop a HG Label Retrofit Kit.
