ALCON The JRB Raffle is on again, Quilt, BMBH and numerous other prizes...If any other vendors wish to participate let us know and bring the actual prizes to the MRWH (no certificates or IOUs)...Same rules as always... Same cost, $10 per ticket...Drawing starts an hour or so before sundown Sat night at dinner.
This year the proceeds will be used to defer the cost of the group site and the porta pot, The remainder will be sent to HF and WB for site support and to the ATC.
FWIW the MAHHA currently has the bragging rights for highest raffle proceeds...Hope that you won't let that stand.
See you there!
JRB is proud to announce that for those folk attending the 5th Annual Mt Rogers Winter Hang the weekend is FREE.
That is right ... The Group Site for Friday and Saturday 21 and 22 January, 2001, as well as the porta pot arrangement and cost, has been taken care of by Jacks 'R' Better.... This means that those folks arriving Friday and departing on Sunday have no fee at all, as parking is included for the group site fee.
The JRB Raffle is the funding vehicle for this hang as well as a major contributor for HF, WB and the ATC...Please support the raffle and take home some great gear.
PS... If you come early to hike in, or stay over, the parking for days apart from the MRWH are your responsibilty, take care of them like normal at the park entrance.
Awesome--thank you guys!
That is really, really cool....
"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver
WOW! Love you guys!
Thanks a LOT! (Now would be a good time for a dancing banana, even tho I really don't like the DB)
