Good to hear you coming down.
As you've already said you've been following the thread, keep in mind this is a primitive campsite. no running water, no electricity. Mostly trees, a few picnic tables, enclosed his/hers toilets, but not much else.
Except about 40+ other enthusiastic hammock campers & good times.

    See you at Buck Lake!
I thought there was some sort of water supply at the campground other than water out of the lake?

Looks like I'll be there sometime late Friday afternoon unless FedEx does a superb job of getting my quilts here tomorrow.

Nice video, I always carry bear spray. I'm down here in Savannah. Yeah I decided on the east coast route on the way down. Is anyone going to be a day early

There is a water well pump right off the central area. I believe it requires you filter and treat the water to be safe.
I recommend you bring a few gallons of fresh water if you are able and whatever other beverages of choice.

If there is still room I would like to join the group late Friday or early Saturday and stay until Monday (if work does not interfere). I normally hang by myself so a group hang should be different and fun.

SOunds great--there will still be room for solitude amidst the crowd. Hop in when you feel ready.
Hedgehogs! Why can't they just share the hedge?

Looks like the Duffy entourage will include a first time Hammocker(Johnnywalker), a curious lady tarptenter(Shane), and yours truly in my trusty speer. We plan to trickle in Fri morn and Sat afternoon. We'll be bringing extra bowls and spoons, just in case there is a shortage.
