Market place/gear swaps are pretty normal at gatherings. I think that announcing that you (or anyone) has wears to shift is all the imprimatur needed to ring the trade floor bell. I think the "organizers" were also considering offering a sort of prize as well--separate from any other cool commerce ideas.

I am a ditto of Idcakes's food plans. Same for the Bear Finder. The only exception is that we will through a few bucks into the pail for a bite of cobbler.

Speaking of having gear for sale ..... I have a brand new 3 season Yeti w/ drawbag I'd like to pass on to a worthy hanger next weekend. A full length UQ was more to my liking. This Yeti has been hung twice and is in perfect condition. I'm looking for $175. Please PM me if you have an interest.

I'm the one that volunteered for the beef stew. I'll be bringing all the ingredients necessary to fill my 5 qt. D.O. Of course, that doesn't preclude someone from doing up a 2nd pot of stew. I'm sure a 2nd pot of anything is going to disappear with this group

I can cook this either Friday or Saturday, whichever fills the larger need.

I'll be arriving around noon on Friday & leaving around 4:00 pm on Sunday.

I would like to join this hang if there is still room - i'll be hammocking and will contribute when I get there Friday sometime - for food - I guess I'll just bring my own since I can't figure out what to get. I'll be coming in from SORUCK and visiting family in the Ocala area so I can arrive anytime Friday - looks like noon or maybe a little later would be a good choice.

I will be bringing myself, wife and our 5 year old daughter (it's also her first time camping). We will have a tent as a contingency plan but hope to hammock it. We are coming in Saturday as early as we can and leaving Sunday morning-ish. I am trying to stay away from shell fish because of some potential allergies so we will plan on bringing food for ourselves.

My main motivation for coming is to learn about different hammocks/rigs/toys and generally how folks are camping-hammock camping now-a-days.

I will have some money on hand if there is something I can't live without, but don't have my mind keyed on anything in particular. Except maybe a used entry level canoe................

Looking forward to the hang!!!! And a Huge thanks to you collective "organizy" committie. These things can be hard to motivate and you lot have done a great job.

From the PMs I received it seems as if some of us will sell/raffle off items.

Someone else offered to donate a stove (I think it was) and let the proceeds go to the group.

My vacation starts tomorrow and my home PC is on the blink, so all I'll have is my new Iphone 4 that I'm still learning to use. I did manage to put the HF icon on the front, so hopefully I'll be able to correspond, but it's a teeny screen and I do know how to spread the text so it's larger.
