My winterized KAQ arrived on Christmas Eve -- Thanks Paul. It's going to be in the single digits here tonight and I'm going hanging! Yippee.
Who else is hanging out tonight?

Merry Christmas to me! I spent Christmas night in the hammock Low of 27 with wind chill at 14, Kennesaw, Georgia. I had the uq (KAK Lost River) with a space blanket and poncho tarp to keep the wind off the bottom. Also, had a windshield reflector up above me over the ridge line , reflecting my heat back to me...I was very warm and toasty!....Yes, that's breakfast of the Champions!

I'm just leaving to head out to the AT behind my house here in Southwestern Virginia. We are expected to get another 5 or so inches of snow and there's already more than a foot on the ground. They are calling for a low of 14, with wind chills getting close to zero, but I'll be warm and toasty.
I went out earlier and dug out the snow and piled it up for extra wind protection, this will be my coldest night out yet.
