Got new Hammock

I bought a HH A-sym Expedition on Ebay for $95. It came today but it was the Explorer not the Expedition. Did I get a "better" model? I'm gonna contact the guy and let him know the mistake. Should I be bummed or stoked?

I'd be stoked. That is if you don't mind the small weight difference. The bigger Explorer should be more comfortable. Really good price for one of those.

Only 8 oz different between the two. I am not ultra worried about 8 oz, esp if it is much bigger. I emailed they guy to let him know what happened, no response yet. It was a good price for the expedition. It is a GREAT price for an explorer. Brand new, never been used.

The same thing happened to me, although you got a much better price than I did. I was about to make an issue of it but then reason got the better of me and I'm the owner of a HH Explorer Deluxe. The few times I've used it I've been very happy with it.

Totally stoked. You basically just got an explorer at half the price. I'd be jumping off the walls.

My HH is an Asym Explorer UL and it is very roomy. For $95 I'd say you got a pretty good deal and should be happy.

Agreed, it's a good deal, and the Explorer Deluxe is very comfortable. Did you get the stock tarp with it?

I assume so, it seemed like a stock setup I haven't set it up yet but I am 95% sure it is a stock tarp

Looks like bad packaging. The Bag says Explorer Deluxe Asym but upon further review it appears to be the Expedition. It didn't seem any bigger than the Expedition NCPatrick let me test drive the other day. I weighed the hammock in the bag and it came up at 2.5 lbs I think the Explorer is 3 lbs 12 oz. Still a good deal but not as good as I first thought
