    tree hanger for equipment

A friend has this tree hugger system that his in-laws gave him with hooks on it that he wraps around a tree and uses to hang gear onto. He said he saw it at LLBean, but I've looked and they day it must be discontinued or something because they don't carry it anymore.

There isn't any identifying label on it, but it looks like a broad wrap with a webbing strap that goes around a tree. On the broad section there are several hooks fixed that you can hang packs or other equipment from.

Does anyone know who makes this or where I can find it or something similar. If necessary, I'll try to duplicate it myself, but I don't have all the right stuff and really don't want to buy it for one peice of equipment if I can find it for sale.
    Thanks

I would guess something that would go along with a treestand.

Yep. This is what I was looking for. Mine arrived this weekend (it was waiting for me at home when I got back) - it's already been added to my pack for the next trip.

    Thanks.

hummmm - something that I use sometimes for a similar purpose is a shoe lace tied in a loop with a 'biner - good enough for hanging my pack or poles or whatever - obviously used with smaller trees. A few different ways to hang it - simplest is to pass the loop around the tree and feed the biner through the loop - very similar to the way tree huggers are often used.
