I like the Knife/Spatula/Spreader combo. But I have never liked Spoon/Fork combo (Sporks). In theory they sound great. But in practical use they fall short in the fork and spoon departments. While hiking / backpacking my meals tend to be either one pot meals or freezer bag meals. Either way the spork just does not work out very well. I can't get at the bottom of my pot with the spork tines. And when i use a freezer bag they tend to puncture the bay. So a nice lexan spoon serves me just fine. Come to think of it I rarely fry anything so a spatula would not do me much good either. A spoon and my pocket knife are about all I ever need. But I can see where these two combo untensils would be handy. For those whose cooking methods require those kinds of untensils. I must admit that they are on sale at a good price. They just are not usefull for my style trail cooking.

I have two of these. One red and one black. I fly fish a lot and take my backpack stove and pan with me to the river. The Spatula melts in hot bacon grease. So no good for frying. They are however very lightweight and the snap together feature is kinda cool.

is perfect for stirring/scraping the pot of a JetBoil. But I too am less than enamored with the spork.
