    Hello from Southern Indiana;-)

Great to be here, just getting started in hammock camping and I can tell ya right now...I'll never go back to a tent!

I don't see a lot of people here from Indiana...that's a shame....we have some great hiking and camping here in the south of the state....Hoosier National Forest has almost 100 miles of hiking and Indiana's longest footpath the Knobstone Trail (58 miles of Rough) is not very far from me at all.

    Great site, Great Info. Thanks

Welcome! Is Bedford southern Indiana? I figured Evansville and Corydon are Southern... aren't you in central? Just busting your chops, I spent a bit of time in Indiana... Welcome to your new obsession, I'd be careful of this site. I was well adjusted and calm before, now I am obsessed. Hoosier National forest is AWESOME, camp there and you won't want to leave.

Welcome to the forum. We have the Hoosier Hang 2011 in April. I'm sure you'll have fun if you attend and learn a lot.
I like big hammocks - I cannot like.

I'm from the E'ville area, havent been home in years. Hard to beat in the autumn - I miss camping and fishing there. I hope to come home and hike and hang on the R2R next fall.
