Kelty 12 - set up like sr1355 in #10 of this
post. Still dialing this in. Tarp ridgeline with prussics and mini 'biners.
11' whipped-end hammock of 1.9 ripstop. Just figured out my ridgeline is a hair over 83% to give me a nice flat lay.
Two 6' whoopies toggled with a marlin spike hitch on 10' poly webbing (
please note that I had to improvise because I loaned my webbing to a friend and wound up using cored out 1/2 inch dyneema around the trees - no trees were harmed in the hanging of this hammock).
20-degree The North Face Aleutian sleeping bag.
Ray-Way Top Quilt with Alpine upgrade.
Coleman CCF pad
Temp was 31 and I was warm. So warm that I almost drifted off. The tarp helped a lot with the wind and had to have easily given me at least 7+ degrees of warmth in my 'winter setup'.

practice makes perfect and this was great practice. Can't wait to do it again to get more familiar.
The future will have me making my own UQ in preparation for the New Jersey hang at the end of January.
Any and all advice/criticism/suggestions welcome and appreciated.
Thanks,
Syb
