I would be afraid of what it takes to get the corkscrew in the ground. Look really cool though and taht si why I'll get them.

This may be beyond the comprehension of a Floridian, but it's mostly rock and clay around here.

Very cool. For Ti that's a great price. Same as most price points on the aluminum MSR Groundhogs.

Could prolly use a trail stick/toggle/another stake etc to put through the eye and use as a wrench.

I suppose I went for the Ti Eye over the corkscrew because I would know that no matter what type of ground (hard, soft, frozen etc) I'm camping over the Ti Eye will always work (even though there is a 2 gram penelty for the bigger stake) It may just be my conception of the Corkscrew but it seems spring and would be ideal for really sandy soil. I suppose if the Corkscrew is really stiff and could handle heavier turning with a trail stick (without distorting the stake) I may have done those. Just me thoughts. Great looking products and great innovations!

FYI. Thanks for all the PM's. A common question I keep being asked is; How do I pay for them? They will be available on my website a day or two before my target ship date of Jan 14th and you can pay for them on there.

Currently shipping has been free on all orders since I am trying to promote my 50' of Guywire for $12.95 including free shipping. So if you want Guywire now and the titanium stakes on the 14th they will ship separately but still for Free.

    Thanks,
    Lawson
