    +1 on balloon gasket on Spinn.

    +1 on leaving them right there on the hammock to store them.

    I have also used them on Sil with great results also.

    Spinn and also silnylon are too slippery for the gripclips to hold without sliding to a new location, so use an uninflated balloon as another layer of "fabric" to provide friction.

    Balloon gasket = brilliant. I've never used clips like that and always wondered how you could prevent slippage on something like sil. I may just use them anyway as to not create any potential wear and tear on the tarp. Thanks for the explanation WV.

    I keep them all strung on a loop of Paracord - the bases through the center, and the strung clips through the cordage loops.

    I had a bag of about 20 of them for the NY/NE Hang in Vermont, and we utilized them for guyout points on the two extra space blankets/tarps that I carried in to creat a shelter over the picnic table. They worked GREAT, and I removed them as we took the set-up down. For the weight, and the utility, they can't be beat!
