    I just thought of another option to Dave's bags. Sew weed whacker string into the seams. Maybe it will give shape and definition to the bag and therefore make it easier to access it in the dark confines of the hammock. This is how wide brimmed rain hats are beefed up.

    Then again, this may be a useless modification, but it will be fun to try it.

    Good idea, however, in my practical usage, I don't think it would be helpful. Didn't have a problem getting stuff in and out of the bag.
