    Wow! That's exciting.

Now hopefully they can get us the information that we need to make our order...

Yeah, I know it's taking a long time, but I'm still optimistic. We've got a good order prepared for them, and if they finally get caught up we could all come away with a real sweet deal.

Update: I spoke with Larry directly today (I even got his cell phone number). When I called him he was loading some kind of large shipping container and was obviously very busy. He was very apologetic and assured me that he was aware of my request and would be getting to it as soon as he could.

He sounds like a real nice guy who is really under the gun. So, it looks like it'll be happening still, but only when Magna starts to catch up on orders. I was very polite and understanding on the phone, and I could tell that he appreciated it, so I'm hoping he'll take care of us.

So, hang in there ya'll, and I'll keep you updated.

Job thanks for keeping at this. We should reafirm all the orders when/if the time comes to make sure everyone is still interested. I wouldn't want to see you get stuck with and outragous amount of ripstop. I hope you get samples, I will trust your judgement.

    cool.

for the 1.9 (in earthy tones) i would only be getting a little, for my hammock and several others, as well as a weathershield and stuff to play around with.

For 1.1 I would get about the same as he 1.9, because of quilts and other stuff that is not load bearing.

for sil, I would bet lots. LOTS. I would consider a waterproof weathershield (set), a small (HH shape, but bigger) tarp, and a MacCat style.

so, please ask for lighter weight ripstop and sil. I dont want to pay the +$5/yd for sil, when it is here for like, $1.

If you end up getting sil in an earth tone for a dollar a yard I will borrow money to get in on this! I thought you were just trying to get a group buy on 1.9 ripstop uncoated!

I'd go for 15-20 yards of 1.9 ripstop, dwr or untreated
    Probably the same for 1.1...

As for sil, I'll order at least 30 yards and probably more.

Thanks for keeping on this...excited to hear the verdict
