No worries, not everyone is a knot encyclopedia. I love Tie It All Together videos. So easy to learn new knots.
Great looking Nacrabiners, dant8ro!
They look like the real deal and should hold you up (I loved the couch cushion idea).
What kind/weight of wire tool did you use?
They will hold you fine. I'm HUGE and they hold me. Made a bunch from thinner dyna and they worked too...but that's me.
Big nacra's can replace your loops..done that too.
Your knot work looks good. Keep an eye on it for the first few hangs for "creep".
Have faith in that rope!!
Ambulo tua ambulo.
Here's the nacrabiners I made yesterday. They are from 1/8 amsteel blue. The carabiners I was using weighed 123.6g, nacrabiners weigh 9.4g, saving me 114.2g or 4.07oz.

The nacras were 7/64ths amsteel blue, as far as tools go: 1 - size 2 and
1 - size 4.5 knitting needle to widen the gaps in the amsteel, and 20 GA brass wire to lead the amsteel through. I'm considering a splicing wand, but am not sure if i'm ready to put out the coin.

I hung on the nacras today and they didn't creep much. Held just fine, no need for the couch cushions.
Nice Nacra's HamMike, I have more faith now that they will hold. 1 hang isn't the whole story, but it does get the gears turning.
Nice work!
Another thing to do when I get hold of my Amsteel.
Why hasnīt it arrived yet?
I need it.....
