    It would be right by the Redfish lodge area along with a couple campgrounds. The TH probably will have a pit and a pump but will also likely be posted no camping as there are a few designated campgrounds right by there. My main though is depending on how many folks show up it might be difficult to find a site in the campground to accommodate everyone without paying for multiple sites for night one. There is also the chance that several folks will be swinging in for a night or two throughout the coarse of the hang and making it as easy as possible to find the site will be something to consider. Cost wise most of the sites are 13-20 per night for single vehicle, then they start adding per extra vehicle with a limit depending on the sites size.

    I talked to a guy at work that spent a few days outside of Stanley last week. He said the temps were dropping in to the upper 20's and low 30's overnight. They had some water bottles frozen in the mornings. I'm ready to get out of the 90's and have some cooler temps. Sounds like it might be a great trip!!!

    Last years recorded low was 23, with rain and some snow, everyone should plan accordingly. Day time temps should be in the 70's and maybe low 80's. Shorts and T shirt in the day and jackets w warm hat for night.

    Anybody heading out of Boise that may have forgot something, there is a cabelas and a REI store in town. You can make maps of the sawtooth area at REI for pretty cheap, plus when I was there they had a nice sale on clothing. Joe (sippy cup) behun.

    I have it from a reliable source that there will be some extra Tenkara stuff at this hanging. So then Paul how about a mini Tenkara seminar or two? I could really use some learnin' in the Tenkara area.

    Specifics;
    Line selection for certain conditions.

    Working the fly...both on surface and submerged.

    Oh and tomorrow morning I head to the coast and North!!!

    Sure, would be happy to have a little Tenkara Pow Wow.

    Probably Sunday afternoon so that we can do it on stream.

    Muse was telling me about a lake not to far from where we will be camping Sunday/Monday that might make a good day hike and from the report he got is loaded with Cuts.

    Hey Paul,

    I am really glad that you are suggesting this as a possibility for Sunday. I have the Tenkara set up that I recently got from you, but no experience with it yet. I'd like to get in on that!

    Absolutely DBL. I told LD yesterday that I will have a bunch of stuff with me.....probably close to a dozen rods, loads of lines, lots of flies....pretty much the whole catalog from Tenkara-Fishing. I'll have some AHE stuff to spare beyond my own but T-F will have a good showing at the hang.

    Unhappy Can't make it

    Paul,

    Although I'd already planned on making this trip, unfortunately things have come up. My Mom-In-Law is very ill and we don't know how much time she has left.

    Maybe next year.... Only time will tell.

    Sorry..
