the hammock hangs

i bought myself a hammock (my first) for Christmas. i wasn't able to pull it out of it's stuff sack until today.
i rushed home from work this afternoon (5 ish), went out to the shed and bolted some "d" rings to the walls at about 14' apart and 6'6" high and hung the bb. the 15, or so, minutes that i hung there was sweet. i really like it. i would have stayed there a lot longer if i could have. tomorrow i will spend some time adjusting and playing. testing and trying different things to prep for my first (out of shed experience) hang. i am smitten.
thank you all for helping me get off the ground, literally and figuratively. the wealth of knowledge and the willingness to teach and share, found here, on Hammock Forums is unsurpassed.
my new year's resolution is to get out and hang once every season, from now on. shed hangs not included.
i'll continue to learn from you guys and maybe i'll stumble onto a trick you guys can use or laugh about. thanks again HFers.

I would suggest looking in the 'warbonnet' subforum (under vendors); I seem to recall this was discussed by brandon his own self at one point..

i found the thread you referred to, thank you. its even easier than i thought. rather than untying the fisherman's knot, i simply loosen the larks head/girth hitch and back out the old and just reverse the process with the whoopie.
i'll be whooping it up from now on.
