    Yeti Fitting Issues

Hey guys, i have a random one for ya...

do we know if brandon makes a different yeti for the blackbirds?

meaning the regular blackbirds (left shoulder is closest to the zipper when laying on back) they have regular yetis.

but, does brandon make a yeti for the mirrored (right shoulder is closest to zipper when laying on back) blackbirds??? i.e. does he make a mirrored yeti? or will the regular yeti fit all?

    thanks in advance,
    Seb

I remember this coming up before, but don't recall the outcome. Shoot him an email and find out. I'm curious about the answer.

Either way, a mirrored yeti would cost a little more. I think the mirrored BBs have a $10 premium or something.

I don't think that the yeti needs to be mirrored. I use it, and not in a BB, and I've slept on both diagonals and not had any problems.

I think the curved shoulder is a way to cut down a little weight, mostly.

i just got a PM from Brandom. he said that the yetis like the hammocks are mirrored. Yetis are more for the mirrored version. but conversely fit better on the mirrored yeti.

we already camp in hammocks, why not get the mirrored one and be the oddball out of the oddball hammocking bunch.

yeah, yeti is asym, for optimal fit, a standard yeti fits the standard bb best, and a mirrored yeti fits a mirrored bb best (mirrored versions cost 15$ more)

but the yeti can be used on the opposite diagonal with success like jcinma says

i have some mirrored wbbbs coming my way- and a mirrored yeti soon.
according to brandon, the yeti is designed specific to the lay.
