Custom sleeping bags?

Sorry to break in, but had a thought. Test your local seamstress with a cheap sleeping bag you might have as a spare. If you don't have a spare one, Big 5 and other sporting goods chains often have clearance sales at the start of a season and you could probably pick up a good spare/test bag for under $50 -- perhaps as little as $25 or $30.

Take a look at Nunatak Gear.Somewhat different take on sleep systems-expensive and a wait.Most cottage vendors are in their busy season.Try Joe at Z-Packs.You might like his bags/quilts and according to his web site,the wait factor was pretty short.

Yeah, I just bought a quilt from ZPacks. The wait was only about a week.
