WBBB dbl inside under insulation.

I am getting a WBBB 1.7 dbl for Christmas. I have a set up in a room so I will use it inside. Now I am using a diy UQ but I am hoping that with the dbl. I will be able to find something to put in it so I will not need th UQ. I am not a big fan of pads so I hope I can find something else. My first try will be a wool blanket. Any other recommendation would be great. Inside it gets down to 56.

A fleece blanket or throw would also work. Since this indoors, turn up the heat a little if it gets to 56F in your house.

I would try one of those military poncho quilts folded in half.

Heat is a touchy subject at our house. What about fleece with a emergency blanket? With my UQ it gaps about 6 inches and then I pull it a little tighter as it gets cold.

I picked up a heat sheet but it also is coming for Christmas.

Is there a good place to by the poncho liner? I am in South Eastern Idaho and I just drove past a big Army surplus in Idaho Falls.

I have a small heater positioned under me off to the side aimed at my back when I sleep in my cool basement in my single layer hammocks. It's just enough to keep me toasty and it actually heats up the room after a little while.

I am on the road for Christmas in Idaho. The day I started thisnpost I stopped at an Army surplus store and picked up a poncho liner. It was a little more than I had heard they were but I splurged. When I got home and looked at it I thought maybe I could make a UQ out of it. My mother in law sews a lot so I brought up it up and she had a few ideas. Three hours later I have a new UQ.

We took off the binding around the whole thing. I then cut a little off each corner to narrow the top and bottom. My mothernin law then sewed the binding back on leaving enough room for cords along both sides. We also put channels at both ends. She also added loops at each in and out of the channels. My wife would not let me open my new BB so I am not sure how it will work. We did not put any darts in it so I could slide it between the layers if I want.

I went to walmart and bought a $4 bundle of shock cords and $20 el cheapo 40 deg sleeping bag that i cut up into a nice UQ. My grandparents are very touch about the heat. Their motto... The colder it is the more money we save.
