    Nacrabiners

    i always knew they were weight saving but didnt know how much. I used 7/64" amsteel to make my nacrabiners. Just to put your eyes on some numbers and contribute to the visual content i thought id post pics. note this is NOT a suspension biner but you get the idea:

    Prussics on the suspension is an old idea tried many times by more than one person.

    The results to date indicate that for Prussics to work, you will need 1/4" suspension rope and 1/8" rope for the Prussics. Using rope less than 1/4" for the suspension, there just isn't sufficient friction for the Prussics to hold a normal adult's weight.

    The weight of the 1/4" rope makes it one of the heavier options for a suspension.

    I do. The standard HH suspension system is simple as can be, fully adjustable, and more than adequate for my purposes.
