I wanted to ask If for some reason If I come off the wrong way with people here, or if people are thinking I am pushing my youtube channel since I sometimes include a video in my post. I was always told a picture is worth a thousand words so a video must be allot more. I am a noob at hammock camping and have picked up everything I know about hammocks from here I just like to show what works for me and may help another member of HF. the reason I ask is I see allot of my posts or threads blown over and thought I may be the perceived wrong way thank you Jim

You seem fine to me. Hike your own hike and if someone has a problem with it suggest a place for them to store their hiking poles.

There is so much more traffic no than there used to be, that postings roll off the page and disappear, some without a comment at all...if lack of response is a concern, chalk it up to HF's success.

I post a link to my youtube channel in my signature and I get no complaints.

Thanks folks , I was worried I may come off as a know it all when I post videos. If anyone reads my channel It says lets learn together even from my mistakes. I make allot of them not perfect. I am a little anxious I am doing my first extreme weather hang this weekend temps in teens wind chill 0° Got the winter incubator so feel confident my bag is only rated to 20 but have a extra fleece bag and plenty of clothes packed in the pulk will post if it goes well or goes flop hopefully not the later
