    silent space blanket

i have the hhss and a sb works beyond expectations - but it's noisy in wind or when i move around... not too stealthy. is there a 'silent' yet thin & light space blanket in existence? nb, i don't care about windshield/bubblewrap type solutions.

There is reflective fabric with some sort of silvered coating. I thought Warbonnet used it in the Yeti or experimented with it for a time, I can't recall.

You can look at "Insul-brite" it's a space-blanket sandwitched in between thin polyester batting... It's warm, but bulky. $7/yd at walmart or joanne's... On a dry day, every movement generates static electricity... only to discharge later... not a big deal, but slightly surprising...

This is silent but not as durable. Weigh in plastic wrap, 78 gram = 2.751 369 032 1 ounce. Volume about the same as the noisy sibling.

Many users have previously recommended the Adventure Medical Heat Sheet as a quieter soloution.

I've not experience with it at this point, but its only a few dollars more than a regular mylar SB so probably worth a try.
