DIY rain mitts made of Frogg Togg material (cut up some FT pants I wasn't using). They came out a little big for me, so it's back to the drawing board!

I generally take a Large glove (8" measurement around the knuckles), so these are probably an XL size that could accommodate a fleece liner. I had room for liner gloves, fleece mitts and a ham sandwich (1/2 in each mitt), so I had way more room than I needed.

The mitts measure 6" across the palm (12" circumference), have a grosgrain/watch clip tightener at the wrist (black/looks purple in the picture) and bungie cord/cord locks at the gauntlet. Double sewn and bar-tacked in critical areas. Very good construction, but I'm no tailor. Will need seam sealing for full water-proofing (I recommend the REI water-based product with the little brush). Ham sandwich NOT included! I had it for lunch.

For what it's worth, I saw and tried these things on this weekend. I actually thought FishBone had bought them from some store; they are that well made.
