    FlameThrower Down Booties

My size 12.5 Coyote Brown / Black booties From AHE arrived today.

    Thanks Paul.

    WOW

These are really great. I needed an additional ounce of down to fully inflate them, but they really are LOFTY

A bit slick to walk around on the carpet, with but they are not meant for walking without an overcover.

The wife saw them and said OOOH. Now she wants a set, but she already has 2 pairs form lesser manufacturers now.
The only thing that assures she won't take mine is the size, and that may not be a guarantee

Valentines day is coming up, maybe I can earn some points.

Just added a couple more options to the choices for the FlameThower Socks. I have added the XXL size to fit up to a mens 12.5. And a limited color choice of Dark Grey.

No Discrimination here Just takes a bit of work to adjust the pattern. Also to fill them they really do start needing a bit more down. Send me a PM and we can work out details for getting a pair made up for you

Paul!!! They were here at the house when I got back from overseas. Unfortunately the wife had latched onto them. Even though they're way too big for her she love to put them on to watch TV. I ended up with the flu when I got off the plane so I got them back by the sympathy angle! These things are fantastic. Lots of loft and warm enough to fight the chills of the flu! Oh and turn them inside out and I either have a coyote brown pair or a black pair! Big old thumbs up on these pal! Can't wait to use them as my new sleep sock in the woods!

Well HE looks like you need to purchase a second set for the war dept. Think of it as penance for bringing the Asian flu home to share.

That's probably going to be the result! As far as sharing it ... I've been quarantined till I'm not contageous and doping me up with Tamiflu. Just my luck to pick up a strain not in the latest flu shot cocktail!

BUT back to the topic ... these are some seriously nice kit! AND like TZ said don't think they're slippers ... because on carpet these bad boys are slick as glass!
