Heck - with 4 for my suspension system, plus the two others I use for other gear - that is a whole 3 grams - that is 0.1 ounce! Ohhh the pain! But really, that saved me about 33 grams - or 1.2 ounces, I am in high cotton saving that much weight!
But really though, those were a great find. That is why I got a few. Thanks for keeping an eye out for those little things.
Rock,
Momma always said," The devil is in the details".... so we watch out for the small things too.

Had not seen the new JRB micro biners. However they appear to be
identical to the coleman brand micro biner (which i also love.) I have to
give a plug to BPL... but I must admit I do really like the gated Ursalite
micro biners. The biner has a high tension closure that somehow makes
me feel more secure about anything I hang on the outside of my pack.
I know it is probablly paranoia. But the coleman microbiners have a weak
spring tensioned gate that is quite easy to break from normal use. I still
use them, but go through alot.
I think it's safe to say that since we have filled up 3 pages talking about micro-biners...we ALL have a problem!
This is my signature.
lol - my new 30 litre Mammut pack arrived today (only 6 days from Wales to Australia!) and I've just spent 3 hours trying to figure out what I can cut off After two hours Ii was thinking about cutting the lid off and making it into a roll top. Must...stop...n...soon?
Maybe it just needs a few microbiners.

You never know until you try
yep... i just picked up a pack i couldn`t aford to be getting right now. matter a fact, my friend (owner of a local outfitter) let me take the pack & pay later.
it`s a golite trek, regularly $140.00... on clearance for $99.00.
i`m thinking that the extra room in this pack will be helpful for some extra insulation (synthetic) on winter trips.
any one got this pack? it seemed to get good reviews on backpacking gear test. ...tim
I too will something make and joy in it's making
