    No Sniviler Vs Down Under

I hve looked at the Jacks R Better stuff. Playing the "what cool stuff would I buy if I ever hit the lottery game." Any way, I hear folks talk all the time about the No Sniveler but I rarely hear about the "Down Under". I don't see a big difference between the two other than the cost and the head hole in the NS vs the toga parka wrap of the Down under. Why is the Down Under more expensive and is one better than the other for use with a HH?

Down Under? I have to admit, that's a new one on me. Got more info?

The Nest is better used as a underquilt, espcially for a HH. The velcro slit lines up perfectly with the opening on the HH. If your were to use the NS as an underquilt with the HH you have to push the quilt to one side everytime you enter and exit the hammock. The design of the nest allows you to enter the your HH as you would if no quilt were there. That being said, I like my NS better for a wearable sleeping system. It seals up better (by using the cords at the end of the foot box) and is warmer than trying to wear a nest. That's just MHO.

I just bought a Nest for my Hennessy and I like it a lot. I'm not concerned with the NoSniveler's wearable function because I have a FF Rock Wren which accomplishes the same thing.

it is a down under quilt.

the under and quilt go together to form one object.

Back when I used a Hennessy, I'd just push the Nest aside instead of undoing the omni tape/slit. Much easier IMO. Many like it better this way.

If you're talking about the JRB set, they don't really form one object. The underquilt attaches to the outside of the hammock and the top quilt goes inside the hammock. They're not connected. They are sold together as the Three Season Set, though.
