    New from Northern Norway

    Hi
I live at the top of Norway, 70° North.
I found this site whilst looking for a place to buy pertex on the roll to make outdoor equipment, if any of you know where I can buy it in the UK or Norway I'd be very grateful.
I have a couple of Mexican hammocks but before seeing this site I'd never thought of using them in the winter, I've got to try it now!
I usually use raw hide reindeer (caribou) skins to sleep on when I'm camping in the winter, I look forward to trying one out in the hammock!

Welcome from the north of Sweden!

Well, not as far north as you, but pretty far north anyway!

I also like to sleep on reindeerskins in the winter close to the fire (when I hike in the forest).

    But winterhammocking is also fun.

We will have a winterhang in my territory in the end of january (SKAHO).

Would be really fun to hang in Finnmark sometime (and do some quality fishing)!

I'm pretty busy training my dogs at this time of year but maybe a midnight sun hang with some halibut fishing would be fun?

    Yes, that would be something!

I don´t know exactly where you live but Finnmark is a place that´s been on my go-to-map for very long time.
The most northern I´ve been is Dividalen in Norway and Råstoätno in Sweden (that´s at the same level). But Finnmark is even more up north.

    Me like!
