I can't find the thread on how to replace the ridge line on my blackbird. I'm trying to lighten it up for my hike. Anyone able to help me find that info?

...a little:
It shows the removal of the original buckle suspension. the loop that remains after that is the ridgeline. So, you will need to remove the suspension from each end and pull the ridgeline back through the gather (toward the middle of the hammock). If replacing with a different type of ridgeline you may want to run the replacement line into position and put the suspension (original or replacement, like whoopies) back to secure the new RL before you completely remove the original "stock" ridgeline.
I hope this helps.

if you're just removing the ridgeline, you don't even have to remove the suspension, just seperate them from eachother.
if you do switch out the suspension, be sure to thread it through the tiny black loop in the edge binding when you put the new one on
Thanks guys. I'm going to go to a lighter line and put a nacra biner in the system so I can undo my RL when I'm usin my hammock as a chair. If it is going to be my home for 6 months I want it as comfy as possible in all situations and applications.
