I keep going back and forth on pulling the trigger on a 3-Season Phoenix, and today I paid for my MacCat Standard, which hurt the gear budget a bit - I'm sure I won't regret it a bit when I get the tarp. I use a DIY IX UQ now, which has served me well thus far, but I'd like to add a 3/4 length, down, 3-season UQ to my closet, to either supplement or replace the IX UQ in late fall/early spring. If you have something that might interest me, let me know!
Not exactly what you're looking for, but I have a brand new, never used Summer Crowsnest (Phoenix) overstuffed with 2 extra oz. of down. It has not been in the stuff sack since I bought it. Always stored loose.
The overstuff makes 6oz of down in this Summer Crowsnest versus 8oz in the 3-season. This may not hold true, but I figured with the 8oz 3-season rated at 20 degrees, and the 4oz summer rated at 40 degrees, perhaps my 6oz overstuffed summer will reach 30 degrees.
I've been thinking that a full-length quilt would probably suit me better. You can PM me if you are interested.
